Alves Bandeira rejoined their teams on the 17th and 18th of February, for the traditional annual convention - AB Meeting.

 

With more than 200 employees present, the event was marked by the enormous positive energy that was felt over the 2 days, both in the periods of work and training, as in the moments of fraternization and leisure.

 

The opening of the event was in charge of the Retail Director, José Fialho, where the main focuses were on the macroeconomic framework that the country and the world currently go through, on the opportunities resulting from the energetic transition, and how Alves Bandeira is strategically preparing to overcome the current and future challenges.

 

After the opening session, it was time for the participants to divide into 5 working groups and participate, throughout the day, in 5 workshops with totally different themes. The dynamizations of these training actions were in charge of the  Commercial, Marketing, Non-Fuel, and Operation Departments and, of the special guest Paulo Ferreira, trainer, and independent consultant, with whom Alves Bandeira has been working for some years.

 

The closing of the working session was held by Rui Bandeira, CEO of Alves Bandeira and President of the Alves Bandeira Group, having focused its main message on people, the true energy that moves the Alves Bandeira Group, where it was presented the endomarketing plan, incentives, and awards for the year 2023. In a more business and strategic view, Rui Bandeira presented not only the results of 2022 but also the objectives for 2023 and the new projects in which the Group is investing, especially in the sectors of electric mobility and biofuels.

 

After a day of intense training, the night was marked by moments of fraternization and fun.

 

The long-awaited Oscar Night began with a surprising welcome cocktail and a live concert by the artist Joana Almeirante, who played her best-known songs.

 

This moment was followed by the dinner and the ceremony of delivery of the Oscars, where the positions and collaborators who stood out in the year 2022 were awarded.

The night ended in great celebration and animation, to the sound of the best national and international music hits of recent years.

 

The next day was marked by a guided tour of the historical and cultural heritage of Coimbra, which allowed all present to get to know even better the history of Portugal and its first capitals.
