Grupo Alves Bandeira joins as a sponsor of the Marketing Event 'Be Insight'

2023-04-14

The Convent of S. Francisco in Coimbra will host the 4th edition of the "Be Insight" marketing event on May 12th and 13th. Organized by the Marketing Network Association (MNA), the event is open to all marketing students and professionals.

The Alves Bandeira Group, one of the 50 largest economic groups in the country, with special awareness and reputation in the central region, is joining the list of sponsors for this two-day event with its mobility and energy brand - Alves Bandeira.

Since its first edition, the "Be Insight" event aims to "promote the development of the area in today's society and provide participants with a relevant academic and/or professional experience". To that end, the event will have the presence of various national and international brands and speakers who will share their know-how on various marketing components.

This year's keynote speaker is Philip Kotler, an essential figure in the marketing industry who has been dubbed the "Father of Modern Marketing". He will participate in this event via video call from Florida, USA.

On the first day, activities will begin at 2 pm with an opening session, which will be conducted by the Director of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Coimbra, the Coordinators of the Marketing Master's Degree from the same faculty, and the Portuguese Association of Marketing Professionals (APPM).

According to Pedro Mascarenhas, Marketing Director of the Alves Bandeira Group and also a member of the National Direction of APPM, "It is essential that, as socially responsible brands, we seek to support this type of formative initiative whenever possible. This support becomes even more critical when these actions are promoted by associations that literally share some of the same values as our brand and simultaneously aim to have a real impact on the community, such as the Marketing Network Association, an association that shares the same values as the Alves Bandeira Group, and this is reflected in the work they have been developing."

According to the schedule, the second day features five lectures and three workshops that start at 10 am and end at 6:30 pm. The event will be concluded with a lecture from the event organizers, followed by a sunset developed to promote networking and socializing among the various students and professionals present.

"We want to make it clear that this is a networking event. Students and professionals are welcome, and there will be distinct moments for both. On Friday, we will have a restricted dinner for companies and professionals, and on Saturday, after the conferences, there will be time for a more relaxing and lively moment: our sunset. These moments are new, and non-existent in past editions. However, we believe that they will add value to the networking we want to provide to all participants," says Carina Vaz, President of the Marketing Network Association.
